Chiropractic F.A.Q.

How do I know if I should come to a Chiropractor?

Although we have patients come to us symptom free for health check-ups (which we encourage), most of our patients come to us in some sort of pain. Back pain, neck pain, headaches, and joint pain are common symptoms that we help our patients get rid of. We also help people with allergies, asthma, acid reflux, fibromyalgia, and many other ailments. We recommend that everyone with a spine come get it checked out at least once, and if you are experiencing any painful or unhealthy symptoms, call us today.

What happens when I first come to your office?

First, you will sit down with the doctor, who will listen to you and discuss what problems you are experiencing. Once it is determined that you are a candidate for Chiropractic care, the doctor will perform a detailed examination and any necessary x-rays. Next, the doctor will go over the results of your exam/x-rays with you and recommend a specific treatment plan for you.

Do Chiropractic adjustments hurt?

No. Chiropractic adjustments are intended to relieve pain and restore normal function to your spine. There can be some slight discomfort when a patient is already in pain, but that discomfort is temporary and heavily outweighed by the benefits of the adjustment.

Does insurance cover Chiropractic care?

Yes, most insurance plans have Chiropractic benefits and we accept all major insurances. Our staff will verify your specific benefits for you and explain exactly what is covered.

What if I do not have insurance, can I afford Chiropractic care?

Don’t worry. We have many patients who do not have insurance or who may be on a fixed income. We have discounts and budget plans to make care affordable for just about everyone. Bottom line is, if you have problems that we can help you with, then we will do everything we can to make our treatment plan work for you.

If I come once, do I have to keep coming?

It’s entirely your choice. Once we have determined your need for care, we then let you choose the amount of care that you want. Once patients are out of pain, some do make a choice to continue on a maintenance plan.
